- Since its inception, the Department of Chemistry at IIT Madras has excelled in teaching and research, with many groups actively working toward UN sustainability goals including clean water, energy, and air. As several instruments having served over two decades are now obsolete, this initiative seeks CSR funding to procure new equipment and repair existing ones ? sustaining cutting-edge research capabilities that benefit industries, rural colleges, state universities, and students across all levels, while producing well-trained manpower to reliably power India's innovation economy
Impact
- Many industries, academic institutions (rural colleges and state universities), and research institutions and labs have been benefited in large numbers, We train students and researchers at various levels (schools, UG/PG students, PhDs/Post-Docs) and industry personnel producing well-trained manpower for powering the country's economy constantly and reliably
