Objective

• The Department of Chemical Engineering wishes to strengthen its teaching-learning and research activities by seeking CSR funding for a list of activities to be completed over a two-year period

Description

• Chemical Engineering ? with its pervasive influence on societal activities, job creation, and economic empowerment across rural, small, medium, and large-scale industries ? also plays a critical role in preserving the environment through solutions for water, air quality, and solid waste management. This IIT Madras initiative seeks CSR funding to create the next generation of a model Chemical Engineering laboratory, advancing practical, application-driven instructional models that strengthen teaching, research, and industry-aligned skill development over a two-year period.

Impact

• We need to step into the next generation of instructional models that must rely on a practical approach to application of concepts learnt in class, Towards this, we hope to create the next generation of a model laboratory for Chemical Engineering
