- This IIT Madras interdisciplinary Memory Lab pioneers the fusion of cognitive studies, digital humanities, and immersive AR/VR technologies to store, simulate, and share cultural memories and heritage. By creating copyrighted 360-degree VR content, patented AR/VR applications, physical-digital exhibits with tourism partners, and educational apps in collaboration with corporations and cultural groups, the lab shifts humanities research paradigms ? generating academic prestige through the Journal of Memory Studies and Digital Humanities while driving cultural sustainability and technology-driven social impact.
