This IIT Madras initiative upgrades the existing EMI-EMC test facility at the Central Electronics Centre to provide advanced interference measurement, compatibility assessment, and certification services ? catering to research institutes, startups, strategic sectors, and industries. By strengthening this critical national infrastructure, the project enhances India's capability in reliable electronics development and fosters innovation across multiple high-impact domains.
