Objective

  • The current proposal aims to enrich the existing RIC program by complementing online instruction with innovative, concept-based, hands-on learning activities.

Description

  • The Innovative Labs at Rural Interaction Centres initiative represents a collaborative effort between IIT Madras and Falling Apple to bring world-class innovation infrastructure and knowledge resources to rural communities. These labs provide hands-on learning experiences, maker spaces, and access to cutting-edge technologies that empower rural youth and entrepreneurs to develop practical solutions for local challenges. By bridging the urban-rural divide in innovation ecosystems, this partnership democratizes access to technology and fosters grassroots entrepreneurship across underserved regions.
