- This proposal seeks to equip students from Tier-2 and Tier-3 colleges with essential skills in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors
Description
- The Digital Skills Academy (DSA) at IIT Madras ? established in 2017 under the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education ? offers a blended learning model where faculty mentors collaborate with industry partners to deliver hands-on, practical BFSI training. This advanced skilling program equips Tier-2 and Tier-3 college students with industry-aligned competencies in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance, improving placement prospects, creating a talent pool for Indian financial institutions, and building a scalable, replicable model for wider university adoption
