Objective

• The objective of this proposal is to build 'scientific knowledge', develop 'manufacturing' skill sets and generate 'entrepreneurial' mindset in rural school students by providing a platform at their doorstep.

Description

• One of the major goals of the proposed activity is to build technical knowledge and hands-on skills in rural school students to increase their higher education possibilities and to equip rural students to earn a living even within limited means. The following steps describe the methodology: Step 1: Identification and Setting up of Device Engineering Labs, Step 2: Curriculum Building and Training the Trainers, Step 3: Implementation (Capacity Building) and Delivery

Impact

• The main expected outcome is empowerment of rural school children to advance their scientific temperament and to hone them with survival skills, Setting up of Device Engineering Labs in Rural School, Additive Manufacturing Training & Making of Products, Training on Fabrication of 3D-Printers, Entrepreneurial Training & Workshops
