Description
- The Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre (HTIC) at IIT Madras ? a translational research and innovation centre focused on designing, developing, and deploying impactful healthcare technologies ? launches the HTIC Fellowship Program to create a pool of innovators identifying unmet clinical needs and developing technology-driven solutions. Targeting 40 fellows in year 1 across multidisciplinary teams of 2, each receiving Rs. 5 Lakhs seed funding and INR 50,000 monthly stipend for 18 months, the program builds a strong national medtech innovation pipeline requiring Rs. 320 Lakhs and support from a minimum of 4 CSR funders
Impact
- To fund at least 5 teams of 10 fellows, Target for year 1 is 40 fellows requiring support of a minimum of 4 funders, Each team shall receive an initial fund of Rs. 5 Lakhs along with a stipend of INR 50,000 per month for 18 months, Each batch of 10 fellows and one manager will require Rs. 80 Lakhs, and to have 40 fellows a fund of Rs. 320 Lakhs is required
