Objective

• The objective of the SEPIN program is to nurture and empower social entrepreneurs in India by providing comprehensive training, mentorship, and ecosystem support. It aims to catalyze the growth of sustainable social enterprises, shift mindsets from job seekers to job creators, and promote indigenous solutions for societal challenges.

Description

• 1. Pre-incubation program for social entrepreneurs, 2. Training in branding, marketing, sales, and business modeling, 3. Digital platform for registration, mentoring, and progress tracking, 4. Collaborative effort between IIT Madras and IIM Bangalore, 5. Access to funding networks for graduating pre-incubatees.

Impact

• SEPIN endeavors to create a robust nationwide network of social entrepreneurs, fostering local talent, and promoting innovative solutions. It aims to instill an entrepreneurial mindset in students, bridging socio-economic gaps, and reducing risk for young entrepreneurs. Over five years, the program plans to establish hubs, cells, and RTCs, incubate numerous startups, raise substantial funds, and enhance socio-economic equality.
