Principal Investigator
Prof. Shiva Nagendra SM
Objective
- The objective is to develop a compact and efficient indoor air purifier for improved indoor air quality in densely populated areas with pollution concerns.
Description
- A carefully designed indoor air purifier addresses airborne particles, PM, VOCs, and microbes in indoor environments. It features an upstream particle filter, a TiO2 filter, and a UV lamp for microbial elimination. Additional custom filters can be added easily, it's energy-efficient, low maintenance, portable, and operate quietly with remote control and filter replacement indicators.
Impact
- Robust and Portable., Highly efficient for wide range of pollutants., Easy to use and low maintenance., Low pressure drops., Energy efficient and low noise levels
