Objective
- The objective is to investigate the feasibility of producing low CO2 CSAB cement in India using local materials, including industrial by-products. To assess the mechanical properties, durability, and long-term performance of CSAB cement concrete for potential field applications.
Description
- The study plans to create CSAB cement initially using high-grade materials, than incorporating local resources and industrial by-products. It will assess properties, including strength and durability, aiming to develop a sustainable cement binder for various structural uses. Large-scale implementation will demonstrate its effectiveness.
Impact
- This proposal aims to enhance infrastructure sustainability and durability, reducing maintenance costs by extending service life and significantly decreasing the carbon footprint compared to the present scenario.
