Objective
- Upgrade iGest, a wearable device, with advanced machine learning capabilities to assist individuals with motor disabilities in communication, physiotherapy, and tremor monitoring. The device captures natural movements, associates them with predetermined sentences, and communicates through a mobile phone or tablet
Description
- iGest is a wearable device designed to improve the quality of life for individuals with motor disabilities. It utilizes sensors to detect and interpret the user's natural movements, such as wrist rotation, and associates them with pre-programmed sentences. These sentences are then spoken aloud by a mobile phone or portable tablet, enabling communication. The device's applications extend beyond communication to include physiotherapy exercises and tremor monitoring for conditions like stroke and Parkinson's disease.
