Objective
- This project aims to improve the health awareness and conditions of the tribal populations in North-East India, focusing on preventing communicable, non-communicable, and rare diseases, as well as maternal and child health. The goal is to educate and empower these communities to lead healthier lives and utilize their human resources more effectively.
Description
- Organize health awareness camps and intervention programs in various tribal villages., Conduct disease surveys and offer general health examinations., Develop intervention materials, including pamphlets, videos, and presentations in local languages., Promote activities related to sanitation, hygiene, maternal and child health, and nutrition., Compile data, analyze results, and make recommendations for improved health in tribal areas.
Impact
- This project will lead to increased awareness of various diseases and health conditions among tribal populations in North-East India. It will empower communities to take preventive measures and improve their overall health and well-being.
