- One-of-a-kind initiative to ensure structural safety of historical monuments & heritage structures., Long-term program hosted by IIT Madras to safeguard our rich cultural heritage., Ministry of HRD (Govt. of India) supported research center at IIT Madras., Collaborates with other institutions to bring together experts to discuss heritage conservation.
Impact
- Existing damaged floor & roof slabs of southern & south-western portions of building will be removed & restored., Restoration and renovation in accordance with the accepted international principles in renovation of heritage structures.
