- SVS comprises two programs: Ideas to Impact challenge (i2I), launched in 2023, offers funding upto INR 50000 for selected 25 teams., Carbon Zero Challenge (CZC), launched in 2017, offers funding upto INR 500000 for selected 25 teams.
Description
- The Sustainability Venture Studio (SVS) is a dynamic platform that facilitates the transformation of eco-innovative ideas into viable products This initiative promotes sustainability and circularity and fosters entrepreneurial ventures within and beyond the academic landscape. It creates a pipeline to transform ideas into products at scale (TRL 1-6).
Impact
- 75 prototypes supported., Rs. 4 Crore funded., 2300 plus eco-innovative ideas., 4000 plus participants trained to become eco-entrepreneurs., 38 work in progress teams., 13 successful startups emerged from CZC., 18 wome led teams.
