Objective

  • A sustainable training model will be designed to be flexible, responsive, and capable of meeting the evolving needs of the green hydrogen sector, Hub will enable partnerships with other valleys and utilize the expertise across the country to create a 'one-country-one-program' model

Description

  • This IIT Madras initiative develops a comprehensive curriculum framework for hydrogen technology and the entire hydrogen value chain ? designed in consultation with industrial partners and educational institutions, covering course content, duration, teaching mode, and certification criteria. Through a flexible, responsive training model enabling a 'one-country-one-program' approach via partnerships across valleys and institutions, the centre issues certifications through IIT Madras or platforms like NPTEL/Nan Mudhalvan ? building skilled talent, advancing clean-energy innovation, and strengthening India's hydrogen ecosystem.

Impact

  • Upon successful completion of the course, students will undergo a comprehensive evaluation process including examinations and assessments, Upon satisfactory performance, certification will be issued by an authoritative centre like IIT Madras or online platforms like NPTEL/Nan Mudhalvan, which opens up career opportunities for individuals seeking to explore and engage in the hydrogen field
