Objective

• The aims of this project are to reduce school dropout rates, provide personalized career guidance, increase interest and performance in STEM, popularize science and engineering, build 21st century skills, and equip teachers and parents with tools to support students

Description

• Government school students in rural and semi-urban India face three interconnected challenges ? lack of career guidance in their own language, low exposure to hands-on STEM learning, and limited access to inspiring science content and role models. This IIT Madras initiative addresses these through a comprehensive intervention targeting Classes 6?12, reducing dropout rates, improving STEM orientation, building 21st century skills, and equipping teachers and parents with tools to support informed career decisions ? building a future-ready workforce from underserved communities.
