- This program aims to empower ITI trainers with deep theoretical understanding, practical skills, and pedagogical resources to teach and train future EV technicians and engineers
Description
- This IIT Madras initiative conducts 5-day Skill Development Workshops on E-Mobility for approximately 125 ITI trainers from National Skill Training Institutes during summer and winter breaks, drawn from diverse vocational trades including Motor Vehicle, Mechanical Diesel, Electronic Mechanic, Solar Technician, and Electrician. By empowering trainers with deep theoretical understanding, practical EV skills, and pedagogical resources, the program enhances their capability to train future EV technicians ? strengthening the employability of ITI students and building India's emerging electric mobility workforce.
