- As inclusive finance emerges as a central development priority in South Asia ? with microfinance among its most successful tools ? this IIT Madras Fintech Lab for Quantitative Analysis provides a specialised environment for researching blockchain, digital banking, peer-to-peer lending, and advisory innovations. Through advanced modelling, time-series analysis, new dataset preparation, and risk and uncertainty analysis, the lab produces research papers, discussion papers, and workshops engaging academicians, policymakers, and regulators ? strengthening India's inclusive finance ecosystem and building a skilled workforce
