  • To investigate the potential for integrating a learner-centered holistic approach into the current education system, To enable students to discover their inner nature and promote the development of all-rounded faculties, To understand how policymakers, governance boards, and educational leaders perceive the integration of holistic education, To identify and implement strategies and interventions at various levels ? Student, Teacher, Curriculum, Policy, Social, and Community ? to effectuate and sustain change

Description

  • This IIT Madras initiative integrates learner-centered holistic education principles into the Indian education system through three phases ? spanning literature review and stakeholder interviews, strategy and intervention development, and impact evaluation through follow-up workshops and data analysis. By empowering students to discover their inner nature, training teachers in holistic principles, and engaging policymakers and governance boards, the project creates a ripple effect of positive transformation in rural schools, developing well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society.
