Description

• Addressing the framing of Indian culture and knowledge systems within Western categories, this IIT Madras initiative mainstreams authentic Indian perspectives across linguistics, mathematics, and music through research, course development, workshops, and conferences. By training school and college teachers on Indian thinkers and the Indic world-view, directly engaging students with Indian Knowledge Systems, and disseminating findings through recorded lectures, popular publications, and social media, the project enhances public literacy and builds long-term cultural understanding nationwide.
