- We propose to develop a comprehensive IoT training program along with the required facilities by way of Labs to get hands-on experience on IoT solutions to problems
Description
- As IoT transforms the automotive industry ? with driver-assist features already a reality and driverless cars in advanced R&D ? and accidents continuing to cause significant societal loss, this IIT Madras initiative develops a comprehensive IoT training program with hands-on labs to build skills enabling rapid development of driver-assist systems, improving vehicle safety and drivability. Beyond automotive, the program empowers MSMEs to create IoT solutions that reduce machinery maintenance costs, developing industry-ready talent across multiple sectors.
Impact
- This project will serve as a means of developing the right skills in a significant manner, The skills built will enable rapid development of new Driver-Assist systems and features in vehicles improving drivability and passenger safety, MSMEs can create IoT solutions that help save substantial costs of maintenance and replacing of machinery
