Objective

  • To improve the standard of engineering education in the country by offering courses in the MOOCs format, To provide financial support through 50% NPTEL exam fee waiver of Rs.500 to students on a merit cum means basis

Description

  • NPTEL offers high-quality online certification courses through a MOOCs format, with IIT faculty providing direct learning support and students receiving certification from the Centre for Continuing Education at IITs upon course completion. This CSR initiative identifies deserving students through NPTEL Local Chapters and provides a 50% exam fee waiver of up to Rs.500 on a merit-cum-means basis ? improving engineering education standards across India and making quality technical education accessible at a fraction of traditional costs.
