Objective

• Provide Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships to deserving B-Tech students across 23 IITs in India, Support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with parental income less than Rs. 5 Lakhs, Create a long-lasting impact on the technological prowess of the country by providing equitable scholarships, Foster collaboration between corporate donors and IITs to support students pursuing technical education

Description

• The project aims to establish the VIDYA LAKSHMI Pan IIT Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship Scheme to provide financial support to B-Tech students across 23 IITs in India. The scholarships target students from economically weaker sections (EWS) and other categories, specifically those with parental incomes ranging from Rs. 1 to 5 Lakhs who must pay 1/3rd of the tuition fees. Corporates are invited to contribute to this scheme through CSR funding.
