Description
- Significant investments in educational and research infrastructure ? geared toward innovation, future discoveries, and commercial and technological benefits ? require a skilled, competent workforce for sustainable operation. This IIT Madras initiative establishes advanced technical training programs for early career women scientists, researchers, and technical staff, building a gender-balanced, inclusive workforce capable of operating high-end sophisticated facilities in biotechnology and life sciences ? improving employment opportunities, scientific output, and long-term sustenance of India's national research infrastructure.
Impact
- The early career women scientists, researchers, and technical staff trained under this intensive hands-on project will have improved opportunities for employment in biotechnology and life sciences and will be more productive and efficient in scientific output and service to society, High-end sophisticated technical infrastructure and established core research facilities can be sustainably operated by competent trained staff while providing adequate technical support to the host research and educational organization
