Objective
- Form an integrated plant of green energy technology, hydrokinetic + solar, Reduce demand of the electricity by means of new form of energy, Establish an innovative technology that suits to minimize the market demand.
Description
- Hydrokinetics (solar + water) is implemented to minimize the demand of the electricity, Solar is proposed to be installed with the existing technology and to be integrated with Vortex induced vibration energy converter (VIVEC), VIVEC is an attempt for the production of clean energy from water currents and streams, Harnessing the energy from river currents could provide clean, unlimited, and endless power supply to the identified location, This scheme will be inbuilt with ferry boat jetties, Advantages of this process include less area required for tidal and wave energy convereter. Installation of this device is easier.
Impact
- Less cost of implementation, Employment generation, Power generation benefits localities around the area, Environmental benefits.
