Objective

• To create an ecosystem of hydrogen mobility & confidence among policy makers/fleet operators to adopt hydrogen in transport sector.

Description

• Create a Mobility Hub, Build/operate a demonstrator bus with H2 refuelling options @ IIT Madras, Create technoeconomic and landscape assessment report, Help to expand the fleet to commercial route in partnership with fleet operators.

Impact

• Build a demonstrator bus with H2 refuelling options in partnership with an Automobile OEM, Build 1 to 2 MW solar farm along with 350 kW to 500 kW electrolyzers, Operation of bus, Use the demonstrator bus for teaching the operations of fuel cell bus undergrads at IITM and students from other institutes (target strength : ~500 a year; duration: half a day theory + demo), Create technoeconomic assessment report.
