- Economically disadvantaged final-year engineering students from government colleges will gain enhanced exposure to the practical applications of industry. Getting these students placed in organizations is the noble goal of this initiative.

- IIT Madras expresses its interest in operating an 'Employment enablement program' in collaboration with EdCIL India Limited for economically disadvantaged students, This document is a proposal to present the entire process to be followed for setting and executing this training program.
Impact
- This training program is designed to significantly enhance the employability of participating students, Additionally, discussions are underway with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras to explore apprenticeship opportunities, Ensure students gain practical industry experience post-training.
