Objective
- This proposal is aimed at solving technological problems faced by food and cosmetics enterprises, which are home-based (cottage industry) or self-help-group (SHG) owned.
Description
- it is well known that there is an increasing demand for green materials to produce new, environmentally safe and high-quality products, The proposal envisages a framework for identification, prioritization and solution-seeking for technological challenges faced by the entrepreneurs, Specific focus of this proposal is on issues related to packaging, storage and stability of the products, and their mechanical response in terms of flow an texture.
Impact
- 1. Conduct workshops with cottage industry / SHGs, 2. Identify and prioritize problems faced towards manipulating / maintaining stability and mechanical properties of food and cosmetic products, 3. Provide solutions and standarization protocols to cottage industries / SHGs.
