Objective

• To develop Manufacturing Skill sets, To develop Entrepreneurial Skill sets

Description

• In today's context, it is important to equip our youth with multiple skill sets so that they can meaningfully contribute towards the growth of the country, Rural India has significant percentage of youths, however, very few of them have access to the necessary resources to develop these required skill sets, IIT Madras strives to reach out to these rural youths and build in them required skills in the most interesting way possible. The current effort is designed to engage students in designing toys in a fun way with valuable skills in manufacturing.

Impact

• A cohort of rural youth, where each of them can make toys of different kinds by their own, Youths with developed mindset on entrepreneurship, Training on 3D-Printing, Rural youths with soft skills, Hands-on learning of science through modules of toy-making, Structured training modules, Develop manpower.
