Objective
- The project's primary objective is to develop and recommend climate-resilient sustainable livelihood strategies tailored to diverse climate change scenarios in the Indian Sundarbans region.
Description
- This project involves projecting climate change scenarios based on IPCC's representative concentration pathways (RCPs) and devising innovative mitigation strategies for each scenario. Additionally, the project aims to promote gender-equitable economic growth, enhance disaster preparedness, strengthen embankments through mangrove restoration, and empower local communities to monitor and restore mangrove ecosystems.
