- Proposal for Purchase of equipment: Circular Dichroism Spectrophotometer (CD spectrometer, Rs 50 lakhs)., Analytical High Performance Liquid Chromatography with PDA detector (HPLC, Rs 50 lakhs).
Description
- These equipment are required at IIT Madras Biotechnology department for the following areas of work: diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases, to be used by faculty members and researcher scholars in the department., The proposed equipments are unique and will enable propagation of Indian technology enhancement in treatment of various medical conditions such as Diabetes, Cancer and Auto-immune diseases and enable new experiments and innovation.
Impact
- The proposed equipments will ensure the structural integrity and stability of infliximab and rituximab in ionic liquid (IL) formulations, crucial for maintaining their therapeutic efficacy and also will provide precise quantification, purity assessment, and stability monitoring, supporting consistent, high-quality, and safe IL-based antibody treatments for rheumatoid arthritis.
