Objective
- To address the lack of access to medical advice for pregnancies, we plan to develop a voice-enabled mobile app using a large language model (LLM) and a Generative AI (GenAI) model based on expert-curated evidence-based medical guidelines.
Description
- In recent decades, India has made significant progress in healthcare indicators such as maternal and infant mortality rates. However, there are still huge disparities across different states., One of the primary reasons for these disparities is the unavailability of reliable and timely antenatal care information, which particularly affects mothers who do not have regular access to healthcare.
Impact
- Many studies show that personalised support for pregnant women can significantly improve their prenatal care and better birth outcomes. The end user will be able to access precise medical guidance and tailored and nuanced responses anytime, anywhere, through the privacy of her phone., This app will empower pregnant women with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their pregnancy and promote better birth outcomes, especially for the most marginalised users of society.
