Objective

  • The proposal aims to revolutionise the transportation of organs and critical medical supplies using drone technology. By leveraging cutting-edge drone technology, we aim to overcome traditional transportation barriers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery, ultimately saving lives and enhancing the healthcare ecosystem.

Description

  • National Centre for Combustion Research & Development (NCCRD) is the world's largest academic combustion research centre. NCCRD serves the nation and the curiosity of researchers worldwide., This project will be taken up by NCCRD, IITM led by the start-up "The ePlane Company", ideated and incubated at IIT Madras, which is in pursuit of transforming the mobility landscape with their all- electric, zero-emission passenger air taxi. Designed as one of the most compact vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircrafts, the passenger air taxi shall make daily intra-city flying a reality.
