- To Deliver a series of lectures about neurological disorders, dispelling myths related to their association with evil spirits., To Provide practical training on various neuroscience experiments and facilitate the creation of disease models., To Establish a robust infrastructure for training on neurological experiments.
Description
- The long-standing belief systems of many rural communities, deeply rooted in superstitions, have often attributed neurological disorders like hysteria, epilepsy, and others to the influence of evil spirits, ghosts, or other supernatural entities., Such beliefs not only perpetuate stigma but also hinder appropriate medical interventions., This initiative aims to empower high school students from rural areas with scientific knowledge about these neurological conditions., It is hoped that these informed students can then act as ambassadors of knowledge, dissipating myths and promoting scientific understanding within their communities.
Impact
- Both students and teachers will receive education on various neurological disorders, dispelling prevalent myths associated with these conditions., Hands-on training., Serve as a foundation for future socially relevant projects, training, and research in neuroscience.
