- Problem: PD is a costly, neurodegenerative disorder linked to environmental factors like pesticides, affecting millions globally., Solution: Screen a library of polyphenolic compounds for neuroprotective effects using cell line and zebrafish models, and test promising formulations on PD patients., Methodology: Conduct screenings, toxicity assessments, and formulation tests in stages, starting from cell lines to human subjects., Beneficiaries: Low-income individuals, especially those exposed to environmental toxins.
