Objective
- To recover and archive the rich and varied cultural and national history of the country and to preserve it for posterity.
Description
- We propose to design a 360-degree AR heritage museum which could offer a virtual heritage walk. Additionally, the aim is to develop a digital story telling app for the Heritage Museum which would be accessible through mobile devices from any part of the world.
Impact
- To develop digital storytelling of past events for classrooms which enables better understanding of historical events., To develop virtual models of heritage sites and 3D models of monuments and sculptures for educational purposes., To use XR tools to curate digital archives of folklore and oral histories., To develop a model of virtual tourism of the nation's cultural past.
