Objective
- To provide a comprehensive IoT system to the rural water supply scheme in one or more of the Panchayats, identified by the Donor Industry.
Description
- A typical rural water supply system supplying water to a Panchayat consists of sourcing water from a surface source such as a river, stream or canal through an infiltration well., The entire operation is typically manual and heavily depends upon timely availability of water from the primary source and due diligence by the Panchayat officials in ensuring the water supply. Many times, if the amount of water supplied by the board is not adequate, the water is sourced by the Panchayat from alternative sources., Internet of Things (IoT) can be integrated into the Rural Water Supply schemes, to enable reliable and efficient water supply to the stakeholder.
