Universal Hydro-informatics platform for MSME
Principal Investigator
Prof. T Pradeep
Objective
- To develop a hydro-informatics platform to offer data analytics for the MSMEs. This will be based upon the data collected from the past, present, and future performances of the entire water cycle in a particular area. It will assist in developing recommendations on water conservation and wastewater management. Then, it will also aid in implementing these measures using a digital twin of their operations to improve the efficiency of water use.
Description
- Formal agreements (non-financial) would be developed with these stakeholders on data confidentiality, description of roles and responsibilities and mutual benefits. The ICCW will lead this initiative by engaging with several relevant technology and service providers for achieving the improved performance results. Also, the digital hydro-informatics platform would be available with ICCW for a stipulated time agreed with stakeholders. Using this platform ICCW will implement Interventions on the ground with the support of MSMEs and help them sustain it by supporting them. The digital information systems would be a dynamic data platform based on GIS systems and it will be handed over to the relevant Industrial area develop-ment authority (Industrial associations/CETP society/private or State Infrastructure development corporation) for using and maintaining it.
Impact
- Social - Better working conditions, improved occupational health and safety, and sustainable land use., Economic - Direct/indirect employment, edge in competitiveness, upscaling skills, and ability to procure more investments from investors., Environmental - Climate change commitments, green supply chain, circular economy, reduction of pollution load and resource conservation.
