Through its CSR partnership with IIT Madras, BMW TechWorks India supports the Nirmaan Pre-incubator, enabling aspiring entrepreneurs to develop technology-driven startups through mentorship, funding, and structured incubation. The programme nurtures early-stage ventures working in artificial intelligence, robotics, education technology, and enterprise automation, helping innovators build minimum viable products (MVPs) and prepare for commercialisation.

The BMW TechWorks India–Nirmaan partnership aims to cultivate the next generation of technology entrepreneurs by providing early-stage innovators with the resources needed to transform breakthrough ideas into scalable ventures. By fostering innovation in AI, robotics, and emerging technologies, the programme strengthens India's deep-tech startup ecosystem while creating solutions with global relevance.
Objectives
The programme seeks to:
- Foster entrepreneurship and innovation among students and early-stage founders at IIT Madras.
- Support startup teams through Nirmaan's Pratham and Akshar pre-incubation programmes.
- Provide funding, mentorship, and technical guidance to develop market-ready MVPs.
